What are power dividers and phasing lines and how are they used?
When you want to stack antennas for higher gain/sharper pattern, the antennas must be fed in phase for the two signals to add properly. When you connect two 50 ohm antennas together, the impedance drops in half (ohms law). If combining four antennas, the impedance drops to 25 ohms. . read more
We offer our power dividers with a “high power” option. A normal female type N is “rated” at 1kw 500 MHz. Due to the size of the center pin and the variations in contact resistance of the center pin, running more than 1kw in continuous carrier modes such as WSJT, can cause extreme heating in the connector and possible failure. Our “high power” divider use a female DIN connector on the input side to minimize the chances of failure. The cost difference is $25 over a standard power divider and are Special Order.
We also offer Commercial Power Dividers, which are Special Order. The 2-Port are $150.00 each and the 4-Port are $175.00 each.

All Directive Systems antennas are built with the finest materials available. We take great pride in building a quality product that will give years of good service and performance. If there is a defect in materials or workmanship within 90 days of purchase, Directive Systems will repair or replace, free of charge, the defective part to the original purchaser. DO NOT RETURN ANYTHING WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION FROM DIRECTIVE SYSTEMS. Please contact us either by phone or email describing the problem and we will work to resolve it.
If, after examining a new antenna you received, you are not satisfied, contact us immediately for return authorization and refund. ANY ANTENNA THAT HAS BEEN MODIFIED WILL BE SUBJECT TO A RESTOCKING CHARGE. IF AN ANTENNA IS SO MODIFIED AS TO MAKE IT UNUSABLE, DIRECTIVE SYSTEMS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE ANTENNA FOR RETURN.
